Tap Devices

If clean tap water is available to feed one of our small fogging plants ALL Plantfog pump modules can be delivered as tap devices. It does not make any difference whether the water is provided by an inhouse well or a public water system, as long as it is clean and contains few particles.

These versions of our pump modules are designated by the postfix "-dw"  (e.g. "tropic-IP65-dw" ... in the picture).

The design is changed so that the pump module is mounted on an aluminium base with a low-pressure magnetic valve on the water intake which is already connected. A pressure reducing device in front of the valve will make sure that the feeder pressure does not exceed 1.5 so that no harm can happen to the system.

Tap devices can be mounted in any orientation - wall mounted or even overhead. If the device should be installed in a location which is difficult to access, we can separate the control box from the pump module and connect it with a cable. Please provide the desired cable-length with your order !

In this case the additional postfix "-ext" is needed.

(e.g. "exotic-2-dw-ext" = pump module "exotic-2" for tap connection with separate control box)

As connector to an existing water tap each pump module is furnished with connector from feeder hose Ø 8mm to R3/8" outer thread. 2m feeder hose, UV-resistant, ND25 bar, black are also included in the basic package.
A comprehensible illustrated documentation with mounting hints is also included.

If you use water from a rain water cistern via an inhouse water pump we recommend to install a pre-filter with 10 my separation in front of the water intake. Filter vessels with 5" or 10" length and the matching filters can be found in our pricelist for High Pressure Plants.
